The Channel Islands are renowned for high rise & fall of tides, overfalls & spring tides can be in excess of 10 knots. I needed a new strong boat for inshore fishing & decided to visit Cygnus Marine Boats based in Suffolk to look at their range. Right from the start Gary was very aware of my requirements & a GM19 Cygnus was chosen. I was very impressed to see the generous size of these hulls. The first payment was made & shortly thereafter Henry sent through scale drawings of my high tech design requirements. Henry & Gary were often in touch letting me know of progress & some agreed revisions. Nothing was too much trouble for this fine boatbuilder. The boat was completed on time & prior to final payment, photos were kindly sent to me. Soon after the GM19 was transported by road & ship to Alderney here in the Channel Islands. The boat on inspection was well moulded & the quality of workmanship was superb. I still have some fitting out work to do prior to launch date, I will let you know how she performs. I had a very friendly relationship with all the staff at Cygnus & would highly recommend this family feel boat builder to anyone. Many thanks to you all and Kind Regards. Alan Smart.
